The world will be watching the Australian Open tonight (Well, tonight in the U.S. and Thursday morning “down under”) as Naomi Osaka 🇯🇵 (WTA #3) faces Serena Williams 🇺🇸 (WTA #11) in one of the two women’s singles semifinal matches.  This is their fifth time playing each other and first time meeting in a Grand Slam event since the finals of the 2018 US Open.  In that match, Osaka beat her role model to win her first Grand Slam title.  Serena defeated Naomi in their last meeting at the 2019 Rogers Cup.
