PI; Pass Interference (American Football)  Illegally impeding another player from catching a forward pass.

I can’t get over the game yesterday! Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford, threw a pass to tight end Brandon Pettigrew.  The pass was incomplete and Cowboys linebacker, Anthony Hitchens, was flagged for pass interference, but the ref picked up the flag, reversing the call.
