Super Bowl XLIX: Seahawks On Defense
The Seattle Seahawks’ secondary (cornerbacks and safeties), better known as the Legion of Boom is back on the Super Bowl stage. Winning the Lombardi trophy last year has not slowed them down. They are probably more aggressive than last year when they completely shut down Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. This Sunday they are up against another future hall of fame quarterback, Tom Brady. The Seahawks defense is strong against the pass, but they struggle with tight ends. They allowed 11 touchdowns to tight ends this season, which was third most in the NFL. Their biggest challenge will be defending Rob Gronkowski (tight end).
Here are all of the players that will most likely start or play a major role on Sunday.
Go back to Defense Wins Championships! to review the responsibilities of each position.
