National Basketball Players Association has “The NBPA Logo Challenge”

The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) has an online contest to help design a new logo for the NBPA. “The NBPA Logo Challenge” is open to eligible fans ages 18 and up, and the winner will be announced during All-Star Weekend in New York in February 2015. The contest, powered by SportsBlog.com, is live and fans can submit their entries by logging onto sportsblog.com/NBPAlogochallenge. All designs become the exclusive property of the NBPA, and must be received by 11:59 PM EST January 16, 2015.

“We are at a turning point in our organization’s history. The players have mandated that the NBPA will be more inclusive, more forward-thinking and more engaging than ever before, and with that will come a new look for the NBPA,” NBPA Executive Director Michele Roberts said. “With our new philosophy comes an increased connectivity within our industry and especially with the fans of our game. We cannot think of a better way to initiate that process than to have the fans assist us in designing our new logo.”

All participants can submit a new logo design online at sportsblog.com/NBPAlogochallenge. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted and the winning logo will be decided by a committee that will include members of the NBPA Executive Committee. Five finalists will be selected by the fans during the voting period from January 19- February 2, 2015. The winner will receive a prize package that will include an opportunity to help unveil the winning logo during All-Star Weekend in New York.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. The contest is open to legal U.S. and DC residents, 18 and older. Subject to Official Rules available at sportsblog.com/NBPAlogochallenge.
