Marie Rudolph – Gridiron, NCAA; Sports@Work

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Marie created her first opportunity to work in an industry she’s passionate about when she co-founded the EagleBank Bowl (renamed the Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman). In winning the inaugural 2008 license, Marie negotiated terms of engagement and other contracts with ESPN, the United States Naval Academy, United States Military Academy and the Atlantic Coast Conference, as well as securing a $2 million letter of credit for the property. In 2010, she was presented with the Outstanding Service to Amateur Football award by the National Capital Region Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Alongside her entrepreneurial projects, she continues to volunteer her time and expertise in education, athletics, entrepreneurship and serving veterans and active duty military. She hails from Colorado and moved to Washington, D.C. following college. Personal style: Depending on my mood, I move along a continuum. I am drawn to designers and styles that reflect me, and my mood, regardless of what’s trending.

Favorite shoe designer: It varies, tho Stuart Weitzman and Via Spiga have a consistent presence in my closet.

Essential for staying Fit First: For me, being Fit works from the inside, out. I’m always experimenting with superfoods, herbs, supplements, etc. Currently, each day begins with “Immortal Machine” from the remarkable David Wolfe and the Longevity Warehouse. I’m also experiencing the wonderful benefits of Laminine.

Kristen Evans – Gridiron, NCAA

Chicago grown, Kristen was raised on legendary sports teams like the Superbowl Shuffle ’85 Bears and the 6x-Champion Bulls Dynasty. She earned her B.A. in Sports Management and Communications with minors in Health and Sociology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. At U of M she spent 3yrs in marketing and promotions for Michigan Athletics. In the School of Kinesiology she was a contributing editor for Movement Mazagine and spent a summer abroad in China studying Olympic management and sports rehabilitation. Currently Kristen is a consumer researcher applying her skills of understanding fans’ hearts and minds to global consumer brands. Additionally she’s pursuing her Masters of Arts in Communications and Leadership with a concentration in Intercultural Media. To Kristen the game boils down to heart and fundamentals. Place to find her when she is not watching sports: Taking in and blogging about arts & culture, reading a good book or watching a movie from her ‘classics’ list; but that’s only after she’s studied or written her latest paper for school! Staying connected to her loved-ones is a must so you’ll also find her doing weekly check-ins and traveling to see family and friends.
